Types Of Cancer | Rare Types Of Cancer

There are 6 different types of throat cancer. Often develop around the mouth region and in the mucosal surfaces of the larynx, pharynx or mouth, which leads to different types of throat cancer.

Vocal cord cancer:

It is often called the cancer of the larynx is a type of throat cancer developed in the tissues of the larynx. The larynx is a small step below the pharynx in the neck. Symptoms may be as sore throat or painful swallowing, or a change in voice or a small lump in the throat. Even the pain in the ears is a symptom of it. The treatments for this cancer are the treatment such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy and perhaps eventually surgery to remove the cancer.

Surgery to remove this cancer is the common option is the removal of the cancer and part of the larynx.

Laryngeal cancer:

Cancer of the larynx or voice box cancer is a cancer-like voice card. The symptoms of this cancer are similar to those of cancer vocal card as sore throat or pain in the larynx. These cancers are diagnosed with laryngoscopy. In this method a special type of tube lights are down to the patient's throat to examine the causes.
