The first sign of breast cancer is a lump or mass. The lump may be painless and hard. These are certainly symptoms of cancer. In some cases the tumor may be soft, tender and round. The probability of this lump being a cancer is large. So it is very important that if there is something different that bothers to touch your chest you have to visit a doctor.
The presence of a lump is not the only symptom may appear. There are others. Each change unusual breast shape or surface or the pain may be a symptom. The following symptoms may be symptoms of breast cancer:
- Skin irritation
- Chest pain
- Lump under arm
- Thickening of the skin of the breast
- Redness
- Nipple discharge
